1. Set a Minimum Level per Item
   For each item, define a minimum quantity. For example, if an item A's minimum level is set to 5, GearChain continuously tracks its quantity.
   
   

2. Automatic Monitoring
   As inventory updates through barcode scans, manual edits, or spreadsheet sync, GearChain checks levels in real time.
   
   

3. Early Alerts
   When stock drops below the minimum level, admins receive a push notification and or a daily email alert so they can prepare restocking before it becomes urgent.

Easy to Set Up

Getting started takes only a few steps:

1. Open an item in the GearChain app
   

2. Tap Edit Form or create a new form
   

3. Add the Minimum Level field
   

4. Enter the desired minimum stock number of an item.
   

Already managing multiple items? You can import items with predefined minimum levels and apply them in bulk. Once set, GearChain handles the rest automatically.
