Running out of stock is rarely the real problem. The real issue is finding out too late. With GearChain’s new Restock Minimum Level feature, businesses can stop reacting to low inventory and start planning ahead. Instead of discovering shortages when shelves are already empty, you can proactively identify low-stock items and prepare restocks in advance. This update gives you a simple but powerful way to stay ahead of demand without constantly checking spreadsheets or dashboards.
The Restock Minimum Level lets you define the lowest acceptable quantity for each item. Once stock drops below that level, GearChain automatically notifies you so you can act early, not at the last minute.
Whether you manage retail products, supplies, tools, or event inventory, this feature helps you maintain continuity and avoid surprises.
With this release, you can:
Catch low-stock items early and plan restocks ahead of time
Reduce operational disruptions caused by last-minute shortages
Automate monitoring instead of manually checking inventory
Set different minimum levels per item for full control
Get notified anywhere via push notifications or email
It’s not just about never running out. It’s about running your inventory with confidence.
Set a Minimum Level per Item
For each item, define a minimum quantity. For example, if an item A's minimum level is set to 5, GearChain continuously tracks its quantity.
Automatic Monitoring
As inventory updates through barcode scans, manual edits, or spreadsheet sync, GearChain checks levels in real time.
Early Alerts
When stock drops below the minimum level, admins receive a push notification and or a daily email alert so they can prepare restocking before it becomes urgent.
No more guessing. No more last-minute runs. Just clear signals at the right time.
