GearChain Quick Start Guide

New to GearChain? This quick-start video introduces the basic GearChain workflow and helps you get familiar with the platform before setting up your inventory.

Build a small working tracker first. Once a sample item, a scan, and a stock update work as expected, expand the form for your team.

Steps

1. Create your GearChain account and open the web or mobile app.
2. Create an inventory list from a template or configure your own fields in Settings > Form settings.
3. Add a sample item manually or import a spreadsheet through Import/Export > Import.
4. Open Assets and record stock coming in or going out for the sample item.
5. Connect Google Sheets or Excel through the available Import/Export options if you need spreadsheet sync.
6. Invite team members with the appropriate viewing or editing permissions.

Check the result

Confirm the saved quantity and item history before importing your complete list.
